There are generally four types of materials for the inner tank of a microwave digestion instrument: PTFE, TFM, PFA, and quartz, all of which are fluoroplastic types. Compared with the three materials, TFM is undoubtedly the best choice in terms of temperature resistance and pressure resistance. Therefore, the inner tanks of imported microwave digestion digesters are generally made of TFM. In addition to all the advantages of PTFE, there are also some noteworthy characteristic improvements: small deformation under high temperature and pressure, low permeability, good recovery from heavy pressure under high temperature, and high surface finish;
Features of TFM microwave digestion tank:
1. The inner tank is made of modified polytetrafluoroethylene (TFM);
2. Material, no recycled materials added, clean processing environment, optimized processing technology, ensuring very low background;
3. TFM is resistant to high and low temperatures -200~+260ºC, and can withstand high temperatures up to 300ºC. It has the characteristics of low blank value, good deformation resistance, penetration resistance, and strong recovery under high temperature and pressure;
